I highly doubt it's low budget. Seeing as how it cost a ton of money to produce sprite work and a bunch of time to actually draw the models plus balance the game etc. It's exactly the opposite of low budget. In fact Capcom said it's one of the reasons SF4 isn't 2D sprite based is because how hard it is to get someone to do sprites and how costly it is.

I don't mind this at all, it looks most importantly: Fun! So what it's not streets of rage good but it looks good enough to me. It's the price tag that's a turn off.

My second favorite game of all time (Deus Ex) finally gets a sequel after such a long while. I hope that it's at least half as good as the original and it maintains the originals depth in story and gameplay.

Some of the games mentioned is multiplatform and others are flying way under the radar and sounds rather meh since it's very little footage and details of most games listed. Give me Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and Mass Effect 2 and call it a year for me. Quantity certainly doesn't top quality. Arguing over trivial things like "My console has games to play! Here let me list them.." is lame. It was lame when some ps3 owners would do it back in 2007 and it's lame now. Just be comfortable ...

If GoW3 turns out to be "only" just as good as GoW2 or GoW it'll still be one of the best games of this gen. I think some people forget just how awesome GoW/2 was. It's like when i'm about the comparison of MGS3 to MGS4, people seem to forget just how deep MGS3 was in comparison to MGS4.

With that being said as a HUGE, colossal GoW fan my expectations are lowered a bit for the new one since Stig Asmussen is at the helm as new director. I'm giving him the Balrog treatmen...

It doesn't need co-op in my opinion. It's a great single player experience and i don't want that ruined. But i wouldn't mind playing some offline co-op with my girlfriend as the chick sidekick if it didn't threaten the integrity of the single player experience.

I was looking at some trailers for BlazBlue last week and the game looks incredible. It's supposed to be the heir apparent to Guilty Gear so it should be pretty cool.

Awesome 2D sprite hotness. When i look at this it makes me dream of SF4 with HD sprites.

I love Kari Wahlegreen as well. She did Haruko perfectly for FLCL. But i'll probably always remember her as Fuu in Samurai Champloo. I completely agree though she still does a wonderful job, her and probably Mary Elizabeth McGlynn are my two favorite voice actresses.

I actually always used Johnny Cage in the original Mortal Kombat. Know why? The split and groin hit, that's why.

I'll be adding this game to my collection for sure. A little diversity never hurt no one. But i'll have to wait for the price to drop. Seeing as it's a flight game on a console i'm guessing it won't take too long.

The article is a little off. They didn't take away ranking points. They only took away bots in ranking matches. You can still play skirmish with bots only but you won't get any ranking points that way. You have to play against real people. I have no problemo with them taking away bots because people were abusing them to just rank up and unlock everything and pad their stats.

Most newer gamers who's first real generation of gaming was either this gen or last gen will probably say yes. I'm not saying for sure they will say use. Just more times than not they will say almost every game deserves multi. For us gamers that started back with the NES/SNES and back will say no. We remember paying $80+ for some games and them having single player experiences only and being great and memorable. For us it's more about the entertainment and experience and not replay value. If ...

CoD4 was good. Not great but good in my opinion. It was fast and more twitch based but also had a decent layer of strategy to it. Thing is that if there was ONE good player that was head and shoulders above the rest that team would 8 times out of 10 win. Killzone 2 the little bit that i've played of it in multiplayer reminds me sort of like Socom. Going in alone and guns blazing will pretty much get you killed. You really have to choose your shots and spots carefully and it's best to travel i...

I rather like the change of pace. It diversify itself from being just a CoD4 clone. I like the more weighted feel myself and slightly slower pacing. The reloading animations are incredible. You just need to get used to ducking behind cover to reload.

......And i thought the pinball level i played yesterday was amazing. Got damn is that an amazing level.. This is why i love LBP, the game only gets better with time thanks to the users spending more time with the tools.

I'm still getting used to Listen UP but i still enjoy it. Not quite as good as 1up yours yet but i think with time it'll reach back to that level. Hopefully. Giant Bombcast is pretty cool and i started listening after the last show of 1up Yours.

*Laughs* I hear you man but if i'm not mistaken Test Drive Ulimated came out before the Ps3 even launched. I know there was a 360 and Ps2 version of the game though. I'm pretty sure they will probably put out TDU2 on Ps3 and 360. I'm not so sure on the Wii but probably that as well.

I hope they still have racing for pink slips.

I would have to disagree with you there Vader. I wouldn't say that Splinter Cell had deeper gameplay. It was just simply put different. Splinter Cell was more stick to the dark area's and don't try to make too much noise while using some of your gadgets. SC has mostly been more contextual sensitive in what you can do.

Metal Gear Solid has been more about overall sneaking trying not to be seen weather it was taking alternate routes or tranquilizing someone or hiding in lockers. Y...
